Mao Yu Lynn Yuan is a multinational social entrepreneur, award-winning art film director, practitioner for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and independent Individual Consultant to the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM). She has long dedicated herself to the intersection of art, technology and social innovation.

Born in China and raised in Canada, she holds a Master of Social Science (MSocSc) in Sustainability Leadership and Governance from the University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Arts Management from the University of Toronto. She possesses a cross-cultural vision bridging the East and the West, alongside systematic professional academic expertise. Dedicated to empowering youth and women’s development, she serves as a long-term Entrepreneurship Mentor for Futurpreneur Canada and The FORUM. She has been appointed as a mentor and award presenter for the UNICEF HKU Human Rights Case Competition. As a former TEDx speaker, she shared insights on individual value amid the wave of artificial intelligence based on her personal journey. Her debut experimental art film adopts AI voiceover dubbing to reflect the lack of female voice representation, centers on gender equality, and has received numerous awards and nominations from international film festivals.

As a post-90s millennial changemaker, she founded her enterprise in Toronto, Canada in 2013, and later established a presence in Hong Kong, China, transforming it into a social enterprise. Guided by the core philosophy of "Building Sustainable Values", she leverages leadership in innovation and sustainability to advance the integrated development of business, society and environment, and facilitates regional and community implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. “You’re never too small to make a difference as a changemaker.”

This motto embodies her belief, shared with youth audience at a public welfare event based on her own experience as a social entrepreneur.
